2. Data We Collect
When you use BotPolyglott via Telegram, we may process:
- Telegram user ID — to identify your account and link your subscription.
- Voice messages & text — processed in real time by our AI, stored to provide conversation history context.
- Payment data — your plan type and billing status. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or bank details — these are processed exclusively by Stripe.
- Usage statistics — message counts, session durations, progress metrics.
3. Purpose & Legal Basis
- Providing the language learning service (contract performance, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Payment processing via Stripe (contract performance, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Improving AI response quality through aggregated, anonymised analysis (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Sending service-related notifications (legitimate interest).
4. Data Sharing
We share data only as necessary to operate the service:
- OpenAI — for AI language model inference (conversation generation, corrections). Governed by OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
- Deepgram — for converting voice messages to text (speech-to-text). Governed by Deepgram's Privacy Policy.
- Stripe — for payment processing. Stripe receives the data necessary for payment (email, payment method). Governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Telegram — as the messaging platform. Governed by Telegram's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not display advertising.
5. International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers (OpenAI, Deepgram, Stripe) process data in the United States. These transfers are based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) or an adequacy decision by the European Commission (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework).
6. Data Retention
Conversation history is retained to provide context for ongoing learning sessions. Payment data is retained in accordance with statutory retention obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data. You may also object to processing and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Contact us at conexido@gmail.com to exercise these rights.
8. Automated Decision-Making
BotPolyglott uses AI to generate language corrections and feedback. This processing serves language learning purposes only and has no legal or similarly significant effects on you.
9. Website Analytics
This website uses Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. Umami uses no cookies, stores no personal data, and does not enable cross-site tracking. Only anonymised page view statistics are collected.
